1999: 8 måneder som fysioterapeut på Godthaab Helse og Rehabilitering i Oslo/Norge
2000-2007: Fysioterapeut på Klinik for Fysioterapi på Dr. Margrethesvej i Roskilde
2000-2006: Studerer sideløbende med arbejdet på International Academy of Osteopathy (IAO). Studiet afsluttes med en eksamen foran en international jury i Ghent, Belgien
2008-2012: Arbejder som osteopat hos Manuel Medicinsk Klinik ved Michael Cohrt i Lumsås
Oktober 2012: Steffens Klinik startes op i Holbæk.
August 2019: Autorisation som Osteopat ved Styrelsen for Patientsikkerhed. Den officielle titel er fremover: Steffen Buthmann Jürgensen, DO M.R.O.DK, Autoriseret Osteopat.
